However, the DTE devices fail to acknowledge as the handshaking process is not present.
V.35 Crossover V.35 crossover is a hybrid of ideal RS-232 and RS-449 as it provides 34-34 pin connection at both sides, the receiving and transmitting of adapters. It is used for either DTE to DTE device connectivity or to connect DCE to DCE device. Moreover, it provides a high data rate over 64kbps. There are other variations for this serial cable as a hybrid of RS232 and RS-499. They are called V.28 and V.11.
Serial Printer cable There are different pin connections for different usage. For example, a 9-25 pin is used when a printer and PC go about as DTE.
